sadly the yin yang didnt survive , the mondo died – combo of the drought and not enough dirt for it to set its roots – and the wild animals kept pulling up the succulents . its now a Koru but Ive used heavy rocks to border the succulents instead of mondo . no more animal issues lol
just noticed that I have almost all the things on your wish list in my gardens. I cant courier from up here but if you’re ever up north get in touch if you want to pop in and get what you need from gardens
Aren’t they lovely ! Knew nothing about them prior to moving here , & only found out I had dahlia’s after weeding and mowing back the jungle that had over grown the boarders.the tubers must of been dormant waiting for the space ! All of a sudden theres about twenty plants and more popping up so Im racing to learn how to care for them and collect and store the seeds and tubers to move .attempting potpouri with the petals as the house is still musty and I read you can use dahlia petals

Hmm.. yin yang in essence – you just have to take the good with the bad, as it seems you do 😉
it was a mixed blessing , lost my plants but got to sit on deck watching all sorts of wild life digging in there lol
Haha… so yin yang!!
